So we finally packed out Boston apartements and got on the road! We packed the trailer and headed to NY for our first show of the tour at a place called Union Hall along with Your Sister’s Canary and Kids with Guns! It was a god show.

Last week we played at the Newsonic Festival in Brooklyn, NY. Also playing was NY band Shy Child. Check out their music, they are great.
This was the last show of the Newsonic Loft, located in the middle of Brooklyn’s hasidic neighborhood. It was a Saturday and when we walked outside, we saw hundreds of people dressed in uniform looking clothes and wierd hats. If you took the cars away, it felt like going back in time into some sort of Amish town. I always remember Joel Hamilton saying that you could never feel more lonely than when you walk through that neighborhood and it is full of people. Seriously, its as if you don’t even exist. They ignore you completely, its like you represent sin or something. (My arms were uncovered and women can’t show their arms!)
Then, back inside the loft you could find the most eclectic sort of people… fashionistas, hipsters, tattoo artists, hippies… you know how Brooklyn is…
